Tiger Woods Returns to Switzerland After Vanessa Trump’s Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Tiger Woods is back in Switzerland.

Woods’ private plane returned to Zurich Airport on Sunday to resume his rehabilitation process, per Golfweek. According to Celebplanes.com, the Gulfstream V with tag N517TW took off Saturday night from Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, and flew 8 hours and 48 minutes back to Switzerland.

Ten days ago, Woods was spotted getting off his private plane at Palm Beach International Airport after staying in Switzerland for several weeks. It’s unclear why he took a short break from his treatment, but one possible reason is that he returned to be by the side of his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, who announced recently that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

In her Instagram statement, Vanessa wrote: “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.” She subsequently posted to her Instagram Stories calling Woods her “strength through it all.”

Woods had previously received permission to leave the country and “enter into comprehensive inpatient treatment” in early April after his March 27 car crash and subsequent DUI arrest. He had reportedly been undergoing “intense” psychological treatment at a three-month-long rehab center in Switzerland. Woods announced the relationship with Vanessa in March 2025, writing on X: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side.”

“Tiger has been very supportive of Vanessa through all of this and is really just focused on being there for her,” a source told the New York Post. “He’s proud of how positive she’s stayed and how she’s handling everything so far. He’s just trying to support her however he can right now.”
