Tiger Woods was there for the celebration. His girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, announced Friday that she is cancer-free, six months after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
A photo from Kai Trump’s latest YouTube vlog shows Woods standing with Vanessa, Kai and Donald Trump III in front of a “CONGRATULATIONS” banner. Vanessa has an arm around Woods’ shoulder, with a bell visible behind the group.
Vanessa shared the news in a video Kai posted to Instagram on Oct. 23. “And it came back clear, so I am finally cancer-free,” Vanessa said before hugging her daughter.
Kai opened the clip by explaining why the family chose to share it. “My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, so we thought we’d share her story and how she was diagnosed and how she overcame it,” Kai said.
The video was posted for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It previews a longer sit-down between Vanessa, Kai and Dr. Nicole Saphier about Vanessa’s diagnosis, treatment and recovery, set for Kai’s YouTube channel.

Woods remained by Vanessa’s side throughout her treatment, Page Six reported.
Vanessa first went public with her diagnosis on May 20. “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote on Instagram. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”
In that post, she said doctors had performed a procedure earlier that week. Ivanka Trump, her former sister-in-law, responded in the comments. “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama,” Ivanka wrote.
Woods had been undergoing inpatient treatment in Switzerland following his March DUI arrest. He flew back to Florida in mid-May, about a week before Vanessa announced her diagnosis.
“Tiger flew back to take care of some things and offer support to his girlfriend Vanessa’s health issues as well as to be here for her golfer daughter Kai’s high school graduation,” a source told People. Woods attended Kai’s graduation at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens.
Vanessa later posted photos that included Woods to her Instagram story. “My strength through it all! Family and the closest people to me,” she wrote. Woods’ private plane returned to Zurich on May 24 so he could resume treatment.
In June, Vanessa said she was starting the second stage of treatment after four weeks of recovering from surgery. “Sending love, strength, and hope to everyone fighting this battle,” she wrote.
Kai gave an update on her mother at the ESPY Awards in July. “She’s doing better,” Kai said. At the same event, she shared the advice Woods has given her: “Be yourself, trust the process.”

Woods confirmed the relationship on Instagram in March 2025. “At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,” Woods wrote.
Vanessa attended Jupiter Links GC’s TGL match against The Bay Golf Club on March 3 at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. In September, she accompanied Woods to a hearing in his DUI case at the Martin County Courthouse.
Earlier this month, Woods appeared at the TGR Jr. Invitational at Pebble Beach. His son, Charlie, and Kai are both competitive golfers. Kai is committed to play at the University of Miami.
Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. divorced in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. They share five children: Kai, 19; Donald III, 17; Tristan, 15; Spencer, 14; and Chloe, 12.
