2026 SAS Championship Prize Money: Singh Earns $345,000

Vijay Singh won the 2026 SAS Championship at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina, finishing at 9-under par to collect $345,000 from the tournament’s $2.3 million purse. The 63-year-old closed with a 3-under 69 for a two-shot win in the PGA Tour Champions regular-season finale. Only Bernhard Langer has won on the 50-and-over circuit at an older age.

It’s Singh’s sixth PGA Tour Champions title and his first in just over three years. He did not have a top-10 finish all season before Sunday. “This was a big one,” Singh said. “It’s been a tough year, all year, and then I didn’t know how I was going to play this morning. I didn’t hit my irons as good as I wanted to, but I got the job done.”

Ernie Els finished solo second at 7-under. Defending champion Alex Cejka tied for third with Tag Ridings. Tim O’Neal and Freddie Jacobson, who shared the 36-hole lead with Singh, finished T5 and T10 after both stumbled on the back nine.
