Charley Hull will make her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut in the 2027 issue. The magazine named the LPGA star among 11 women photographed for next year’s edition in Ibiza and Mallorca, Spain.
Hull teased the news on Instagram with a carousel from the shoot. “I did a thing,” she wrote, tagging @si_swimsuit.

The 30-year-old turned pro in 2013 and became the youngest player ever to represent Europe in the Solheim Cup at 17. She is a three-time LPGA Tour winner and reached a career-high No. 3 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings in February 2026.

The announcement came the same week Hull weighed in on the backlash to Sydney Sweeney’s Novig commercial. Speaking with Heavy at the on!vitational, Hull defended the actress.
“My opinion on the Sydney Sweeney advert, people are generally getting pissed off over an actress/model, modeling in an advert,” Hull said. “That is quite literally her job. Like, not everything needs a… psychological breakdown or a public inquiry.”
“Sometimes a pretty woman is just a pretty woman in an advert. Like, the world will keep spinning,” she added.
Hull also addressed criticism from other female athletes. “A lot of women was coming out about it, who was athletes, saying that it was putting back women in sports,” she said. “But if you look at half of them women that are complaining about it, you go on their Instagram pages, they’re posting in bikinis and stuff.”

Hull joins a short list of LPGA players in the magazine. Natalie Gulbis appeared in the 2012 issue, and Nelly Korda made her debut in the 2025 edition after a seven-win 2024 season as world No. 1.
Jena Sims, wife of five-time major champion Brooks Koepka, will also appear in the 2027 issue. It marks her fourth consecutive year in SI Swimsuit.
