The PGA Tour’s Austin event has a sponsor again. The Tour named Compliance Solutions presenting sponsor of the inaugural Austin Championship on Monday, about two months after Good Good withdrew as title sponsor.
“The PGA Tour is pleased to welcome Compliance Solutions as presenting sponsor of the inaugural Austin Championship,” said Dan Glod, PGA Tour Executive Vice President, Corporate Partnerships. “We are proud to have their commitment and support as we prepare to bring this new event online.”
The tournament runs Nov. 12-15 on the Fazio Canyons Course at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. It is the seventh of eight events on the FedEx Cup Fall schedule.

The event was originally set to be called the Good Good Championship. Those plans fell apart in August after backlash over a Good Good promotional video for a Callaway driver that showed a man shoving a woman to the ground.
Callaway cut ties with Good Good on the same day the brand pulled out of the tournament. Good Good had been set to pay the Tour at least $6 million a year in a multiyear deal, per Front Office Sports.
“After thoughtful discussions with the PGA Tour and careful reflection, we have decided to step away as sponsor of the tour event in Austin this fall,” Good Good said in a statement.
The PGA Tour called it Good Good’s decision. “We agree with their decision to use this time to focus on their organization and the work ahead,” the Tour said.
Golf Channel also canceled the debut season of Big Break x Good Good. The winner was supposed to receive a sponsor exemption into the Austin event. Good Good CEO Matt Kendrick later stepped down.

Compliance Solutions already has deep ties to professional golf. The company has been title sponsor of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Compliance Solutions Championship since 2023. It has also been presenting sponsor of the Stifel Charity Classic on PGA Tour Champions since 2025.
This year, the company sponsored the Route 66 Cup, a season-long competition with a $100,000 bonus pool. It also launched the Sprint to St. Louis, a six-event points race on PGA Tour Champions.
“The PGA Tour and its tournaments do an incredible job of giving back to the communities where they operate and serve,” said Compliance Solutions founder and president Mark Lammert. “We are proud to join forces with the Austin Championship to support the tournament and help elevate the event in its efforts to drive charitable support for the city of Austin and beyond.”
The event will be played without a title sponsor this year. Tournament director Ian Helm said last week that it was ready to move forward either way.
The Tour previously played in Austin with the Dell Technologies Match Play at Austin Country Club from 2016 through 2023.
