Tiger Woods’ New PopStroke Has a River, Waterfalls, a Cave, and Live Sharks

Tiger Woods’ PopStroke is opening a new flagship location on Orlando’s International Drive this December, and it will feature a cave where guests putt alongside a tank of live sharks and stingrays.

The venue sits at 8554 International Drive, next to the Orange County Convention Center, on land that formerly housed Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf. It will be PopStroke’s third location in the Orlando area, joining existing venues at Waterford Lakes and Hamlin.

PopStroke announced the project on social media. “Our boldest mini golf experience yet is coming to International Drive this December,” the company wrote. “Take on two 18-hole courses surrounded by a flowing river, 13-foot waterfalls, caves and sharks.”

The two 18-hole courses wind around a river system that flows beneath pedestrian bridges and spills over waterfalls reaching 13 feet tall. One course rises in elevation over the round, with holes built directly above the property’s largest waterfall. At the center of the property, guests walk through a cave and putt past a tank housing six sharks and stingrays.

PopStroke founder and CEO Greg Bartoli called it the company’s most ambitious build to date. “This is our biggest, most impressive, and boldest version of ourselves yet, with two 18-hole dramatic golf courses featuring waterfalls, a shark tank, and stingrays,” Bartoli said.

The 16,229-square-foot venue is a roughly $9.5 million build, the largest financial commitment PopStroke has made to a single location. Every hole will include misters, shade trees and fans. The courses will also feature digital scoreboards, hole-in-one cameras and app-based scoring, with food and drinks orderable and deliverable anywhere on the course through the PopStroke app.

Beyond the courses, the two-story venue will include BarTenders Eatery, five bars, an ice cream parlor, a rooftop terrace, a beer garden and a children’s playground. PopStroke is already taking inquiries for corporate and group events in 2027.

PopStroke was founded by Bartoli, a former Wall Street executive who built the concept from a single property in Jupiter, Florida. Woods came on board as an equity partner through TGR Ventures in late 2019, with his design firm TGR Design shaping the courses. TaylorMade joined as an investor and partner in 2023.

The chain now operates more than 20 locations nationwide, with its most recent opening in Winter Garden earlier this month and another venue set to open in Austin, Texas, in September. PopStroke has stated a long-term goal of reaching 200 locations.

The International Drive flagship is targeted to open in early to mid-December, timed to catch both holiday travelers and the wave of convention traffic that moves through I-Drive each winter. Orlando drew a record 76.7 million visitors in 2025, more than any other destination in the United States.
