The 2026 PGA Tour regular season ended at the Wyndham Championship. Only the top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings advanced to the first playoff event, the FedEx St. Jude Championship, which begins Thursday at TPC Southwind. Several notable players fell short.
Keegan Bradley: No. 74
Keegan Bradley entered the Wyndham ranked 72nd with a real chance to advance. A T49 finish dropped him to 74th, four spots outside the cutoff. Bradley won the Travelers Championship last season and finished T7 at the Tour Championship, but he did not record a single top 10 in 2026.
Jason Day: No. 82
Jason Day fell to 82nd after missing the cut in three of his last five starts. He finished runner-up to Scottie Scheffler at the American Express in January and added a top 10 at the Texas Children’s Houston Open in March, his only two top 10s all season.

Brandt Snedeker: No. 87
Brandt Snedeker finished 87th in the standings. The 2012 FedEx Cup champion won the Myrtle Beach Classic this season, a victory that accounted for the majority of his points total. He was named U.S. captain for the 2026 Presidents Cup, a role he will now be able to focus on with his season complete.
Brooks Koepka: No. 94
Brooks Koepka finished 94th in the standings after a T67 at the Wyndham. The five time major champion returned to the PGA Tour in January through the Returning Member Program and posted six top 25 finishes but no result better than a T9 all season. “I think it’s pretty pathetic that I can’t get through,” Koepka said. “Zero top-10s basically in two years. To be in the prime of your career and be as good as I think I am, I think that’s very pathetic, disappointing. Just need to go home and completely reevaluate everything.”
Tony Finau: No. 98
Tony Finau had never missed the FedEx Cup playoffs in his career. That streak ended this year. Finau managed one top 10 all season and closed with a MC-T71-T61 stretch, dropping to 98th in the standings.

Billy Horschel: No. 100
Billy Horschel missed the playoffs for the second straight year. He entered the Wyndham at 107th and needed a win to advance. A T12 finish only moved him to 100th.
Joel Dahmen: No. 121
Joel Dahmen missed the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season. He recorded two top 10s in 2026 but missed nine cuts and finished the Wyndham at 121st in the standings.
Players who missed the playoffs can still improve their FedEx Cup status when the FedEx Cup Fall series begins in September.
