Scottie Scheffler moved past Rory McIlroy on the PGA Tour’s all-time career money list Sunday after his eight-shot win at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The victory came with a $3.6 million check from the tournament’s $20 million purse, pushing Scheffler’s official career earnings to $119,964,411.
McIlroy finished 66th at TPC Southwind and slipped to third on the list at $116,488,372. Scheffler now sits second all-time behind only Tiger Woods, who leads the list at $120,999,166. Scheffler is now about $1 million behind Woods for the top spot.
The career money list tracks official PGA Tour tournament earnings only. It does not include FedEx Cup bonuses, Player Impact Program money or other outside income.

Scheffler will get a chance to close the remaining gap on Woods next week at the BMW Championship in St. Louis, which also carries a $3.6 million winner’s share. The FedEx Cup finale, the Tour Championship in Atlanta, follows with a $10 million check to the winner.
